At the conclusion of last nights second practice round we got to some consensus on the schedule and the players and teams are starting to come together.
Currently we have 8 players, willing and committed to managing a race team. They are in no particular order:
1. Tom Maertz managing the German auto club (ADAC).
2. Jerry Roalstad managing the Royal Swedish Auto club, (KAK).
3. Kevin Rodgers managing the United Kingdom Dairyman Association (UKDMA).
4. Dave Devere managing the Touring Club d'France (TCF),
5. Donny Krosch managing TBD
6. Eric Bakke managing TBD
7. Luke (what's your last name?) managing TBD
8. Pat Sheedy managing TBD
Available teams to manage are: Middle Europe Auto Club (MEEW), Auto Club d'Monaco (ACM), Royal Italian Auto Club (RACI), Scuderia Ferrari (SF), Monticello Motor Club (MMC), Royal Auto Club (RAC).
Astute readers will note that we still have two openings for the season. If not filled, we will have a game mechanic for racing with 10 cars and 10 race teams. This will work out well for the occasional drop in racer or for someone who joins our league after the start.
Speaking of starting here is the schedule: for the 1935 Grand Prix, La Grande Epreuve. (If your French is a bit rusty that translates into - 1935 Biggest Price, the greatest struggle / test).

No comment on the Dairymen Domination of last night's practice run? :)
ReplyDeleteTrue. I should have added a note about the complete milk white out, the whole milk, the creme de la creme of racing, the 1st and 2nd or half and half, placement of the Lactation Nation. Sorry I omitted that. For anyone reading these comments, Kevin's two cars, the Milk wagon and Pixie dust, took first and second in the practice race last night. Well done Milk.
